Margaret’s passion for painting started at
school when she was fortunate in having an outstanding art
teacher who had an enduring influence.
Her preferred medium is watercolour, but she also works in oils
and has recently been exploring the use of egg tempera.
Margaret’s subject matter is varied, but with a strong leaning
towards Still Life and Landscape in figurative form. During the
past two years she has been working on a series of seascapes
based on recent memories of Whitstable, Camber, and Inch Beach
on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland.
