When BAS celebrated their bi-centenary, we were able to track
down the owner who loaned the painting for the big Retrospective
Show. For this show I painted a new portrait of Jools.
My work has been shown in South
London generally, and annually at Llewellyn Alexander's Salon
des Refuses, Waterloo and at Blackheath Art Society's shows.
I admire the work of Vuillard,
Bonnard, Lucien Freud and many others.
I have studied painting for many
years, largely independently, and still enjoy losing myself in
the kind of Paradise which is called painting.
